On-Air Talent

Jeet Renjit- Head of Production

Energetic, vibrant, eccentric, borderline outrageous, happy and rugged – Jeet is a combination of wit and (momentary) knowledge with a dash of charm. Having thrown away his ACCA qualification for a position behind the mic and camera you wouldn’t want to miss out on his hilarious commentary.

He knows how to wake you up with the kind of energy that will keep you going all day. You can catch him every weekday on The Morning Fix!

As Head of Production, Jeet is in charge of the sound of the station and all the catchy and creative ads you hear, are crafted by him.

Riya Pattni

Riya ditched teaching young children for her job at Radio44. Little did she know that the creative craziness that goes on at Radio44 is comparable to her nursery classroom.

You can catch Riya on The Drive Thru every weekday evening; your perfect way to wind down after a long day at work!

Pooja Kotedia Patel

Pooja Kotedia Patel lives and breathes Radio, Bollywood and all things Entertainment. She started off on the airwaves when she was still in school, and eventually went onto become one of the winners of Miss India Kenya, where she truly found that the spotlight is where she belongs.

She has a journalism degree and aside from her stint on Radio, Pooja is a writer for some widely read publications and is a mother of two.

BEHIND THE SCENES

Hermina Patel- Station Manager

You might recognize the face, as our station manager has been on your TV screens reading the news, or you might recognize the name as she was the chief editor of The Asian Weekly. Her experience goes back to when she was just 14 where she was in control of her own radio show!

Taking from her sky-diving adventures she’s ready to jump into this new wave of change.

You’ll find her in the office meticulously juggling the presenters, sales and whatever else our team throws at her with a smile.

Hermina also reads the news on Radio44.

Legend has it that she never sleeps and is constantly pepped up for the day!

Bobby Gadhia- Business Development

Bobby is a first-generation entrepreneur with 30 years of business experience in E.Africa. He has worked extensively with international and local companies across sectors like ICT, Real Estate, Recruitment & HR. Bobby was a founding member and the first Chairman of the Retail Trade Association of Kenya (RETRAK).

Bobby has driven business development and growth:

As Head of Sales & Business Development at CIM Credit Kenya, he led3 the launch and market expansion of their app, Aspira, through strategic retailer partnerships.

At Sirdar Group, SA, he established their presence in Kenya, making it a key market in Africa.

As a Sales and Business Development Consultant at Sukhiba, he acquired medium to large enterprise customers for their unique WhatsApp Solution.

Bobby was voted Best Male Entrepreneur by Rotary Club of Kenya in 2000 and Best Male Businessman by a Kenyan newspaper in 2015.

Sunita Ruzaik- Sales Executive

Sunita Ruzaik is a dedicated sales executive at Radio44. With a robust background in the travel industry, she brings a wealth of experience to her role, enhancing her ability to connect with clients and understand their needs.

In a previous chapter of her career, Sunita was a Gujarati radio presenter, which has equipped her with valuable insights into the radio industry. Her persistence and determination are key assets in her sales role.

EXECUTIVE TEAM

Arjun Ruzaik

He’s been there, done that, got the tee-shirt, and then decided to get the tee-shirt again. Meet Arjun Ruzaik, Director of Radio44, a man who faced his fear of heights by learning to fly a plane, is wisely on only two family Whatsapp groups, replies to everyone on his official Facebook Page and is learning how to use filters on Instagram so that he can look even better than Govinda.

A lousy cook, even though he says he has brilliant videos of him cooking mutton curry playing in his head, Ruzaik is a brilliant mind and brings his expertise and experience to Radio44.

Heman Jadavji

Aspiring mountain climber (but not wearing this attire, obviously), a jeweller by profession who has qualified in gemmology, Heman is a fun guy behind that very serious face with zero social media skills, but we are okay with that because he plays the violin really well.

He has been running his family business for over 23 years, and in case you are wondering how an introvert like him got into radio, Heman knows exactly when an opportunity is worth being invested in. His vast experience and success in business attests this.
